Montchavin is a traditional savoyarde farming village that has cobbled streets, old farmhouses, water troughs for the farm animals in the summer time, notably the famous Beaufort cheese alpine cows wearing their bells!  A true mountain atmosphere.  Montchavin has a good selection of restaurants and a few bars.  There is one night club situated on the approach road to the village, so perhaps if you are looking for a 24hr party scene.
There are two ski lifts directly from Montchavin,  a four man chairlift or a bubble lift to get you out on the mountain very quickly.  Both these lifts are just a couple of minutes ski away directly from the edge of the blue piste by the chalet.

Les Coches is a purpose built mountain village and although purpose built certainly not lacking in village charm.  There are no high rise buildings and its thoughtful design has created a well appointed village for all to enjoy.

There are two main ski lifts directly from Les Coches, a high speed 6 man chairlift or a fast telecabine to whisk you up the mountain.  Access to both of these lifts is just a couple of minutes walk from our Les Coches apartments.

Both villages have the following amenities......

There are 3 ski schools:

We have a beautiful Spa and Aqautic centre (www.espace-paradisio.com)  right on the piste front in Montchavin, with large windows looking out to the piste and skiers coming back home.   Perfect for a relaxing swim, hammam, or massage.

There are sledging areas with safety cushions for our younger guests. There is a cinema showing films a couple of times a day.

Plenty of information and details for non skiing activities can be found at the Tourist Information Office of both Montchavin and Les Coches.  (www.montchavin-la-plagne.com)
